Omni Map

This project was completed partially as an independent consultant, but partially as design director at Formation in Houston, Texas.

For an extensive research and design project, and as a part of a team of other researchers and consultants, we developed key findings and factors that were helping or harming wayfinding and patient experience at Texas Children's Hospital, part of the world's largest medical complex.

This key map we coined as the "omni" map was one of the key elements that contributed to helping people find their way.

This project is a couple of years old but wanted to share for the sake of posterity.
