Peacock of Rumi & Velvet

This combination of realistic representation of the peacock set upon a background of stylized floral and plant motifs executed un the Rumi or Islimi Style common in Turkish and Iranian traditional Islamic art. The motifs were meticulously executed on paper, transferred onto the white coated wooden board and hand-painted using guache and watercolours, it was then edited on photoshop to add the velvet pillow.
