Vintage dreams

A personal project dear to me, Vintage Dream Patterns, is the expression of nostalgia for the old times, as well as a recognition of traditional architecture and design.

Created step by step, from the first sketch to an entire pattern and its variations, Vintage Dreams is dedicated to those who are aware of the beauty of our predecessors' method of building homes, designing cars and making them seem like home. Thus, this pattern is a calling to be thankful for the strong foundation on which we can build now.

More than visually appealing, the patterns wanted to inspire a more powerful meaning and to have a positive effect on a daily basis: to look into the past to remember where we come from, to search the old masters to see their principles of creating and making sure we don't forget by integrating them into contemporary life.

As for the colors, they are inspired by materials from the past Epoque, and the combinations of colors are meant to revive the same feeling, to let dreams be alive in our minds, even for a couple of minutes. The power of dreaming about things we haven't personally experienced is a powerful tool to make the present and future a better place to be.

Choosing to add into this pattern illustrations of homes and cars was the effect of understanding the strength of a united family that has that one cozy place where everyone can come back at the end of the day. The car was selected after reading about the long-lasting hobby of outdoor family gatherings with picnics and games.

By not using them on a single product or a limited series of products, but in different industries, I wished to show a large number of possibilities they bring, starting from phone cases to ceramic cups, packaging paper and textile products.

For those interested in buying it the formats in which I can make it available for you are: Ai, SVG, PNG, PSD, JPEG.
