October stories

As the leaves start to dance with the wind they create a magnificent and textured carpet. From time to time a fluffy red-haired fox is raising its tail to check the weather, too lazy to leave the warm and colorful place. Not far away, the ripe pumpkins are patiently waiting to be carried by humans to embellish the homes with cakes and sweet fragrances.

This is an imaginary visual story that created the wish to encapsulate it for years, as the coziness of it and the beauty of such an innocent scene deserves to be seen, cherished, and remembered.

The illustrations are made from scratch in Illustrator, followed by patterns and finally used in multiple mockups.

The challenge was to find a solution to the need of using this pattern as well in darker areas as in lighted spaces, for smaller or bigger objects, and also for areas touched by the direct light of the sun or indirect light from the bulbs.

For this I have created three distinct patterns, from a bright one to a darker one, detailed and with more positive space, giving the possibility to choose accordingly to one's needs.

The reason why I chose to use them on multiple and different objects was to illustrate how they can be used and what would they look like, as well as the feelings they can create depending on the surface, texture and form of the object.

For those interested in purchasing it, the pack contains 12 fully editable colorful patterns that have a cozy October feeling.
