Artcollector is an independent publication by Finanzenverlag that provides comprehensive information on all areas of the art scene. The glossy magazine is supplemented by a digital edition.
As part of a parental leave replacement, Melina Lopez Ruiz was commissioned as external art director for the conception and design of the Artcollector magazine. The established brand had to be communicated clearly and adequately to the readers with background information, dossiers, insights as well as informative interviews in a holistic visual appearance. As part of the assignment, the design studio also implemented a relaunch to give the Artcollector an up-to-date, handy and appealing appearance. Striking typography, a contemporary illustration style, inspiring colours from the versatile artworks, as well as the visual language invite the reader to dive deeper into the contents of the trade magazine.
