Triglav ST

The Triglav amulet is a strong Slavic symbol that carries peace and harmony. Initially, the sign was available only to magicians, but over time it spread among the common people. People wore charms with Triglav to protect themselves from crop failures and enemies.

1. The most popular version of the decoding of the sign is the trinity of the world order. According to it, each of the petals means Reality, Rule and Nav.

2. Another Slavic explanation of the origin of the symbol is the unification of three deities in one image: Perun, Svarog, Svyatovit.

3. According to other sources, the sign is related to the earth goddess Trigla. Here, the triplicity symbolizes the primordial elements that make up our earth - soil, water and air. We are accustomed to four seasons, but the Slavs had three seasons: ripening, harvesting and a time of rest from work.
