E-market place for Tribal handicrafts and goods

Entrepreneurship is the latest route to empowerment. As this worldwide pandemic has shown, there is an urgent need and desire to empower people. Both recent developments in the village focused on the same thing. Eliminating middlemen and grouping producers into communities, thus paving the groundwork for self-owned enterprises, is a pressing necessity. I might see myself being a part of this transition, paving the groundwork for a brand that sells Adivasi(Tribal) goods. Envisioning the solution with a B2C brand was much smoother because I had seen the potential of ecommerce in alleviating poverty and creating employment. The availability and accessibility of creating and implementing an e-commerce platform has meant that large companies aren’t the only ones to enjoy the benefits of selling products online. Small businesses have found success online and these companies have been able to grow beyond their expectations. Also urban buyers have the ability to pay more for the products and are also equipped with technology to access information about resources. Connecting both the sections of the society would create a symbiotic relationship between both and would also help them to understand each other better.
