Electronic health records

Hello there, everyone! Long time, no see. This diamond was found by chance on my laptop (things went wrong, and I somehow failed to post this work months ago, as expected). It is now, however, even better.

So, let us keep making digital healthcare more engaging and user-friendly! In this case study, I worked on simplifying electronic health records and making them easier to use for doctors. Electronic medical records have grown in popularity in hospitals and private clinics all over the world in recent years. But on the other hand, physicians and doctors face accessibility issues that prevent them from providing proper care to their patients. These issues can sometimes result in fewer doctor-patient interactions. Key considerations while making the interface :

  • Patients diagnosis history in 3D - severity, medical history

  • Interoperability

  • Care plan advised

  • Lab reports and imagings

  • Demographics

  • Problem list - active diagnosis, resolved diagnosis

  • Family history - familial disorders, risk factors

  • Allergies - food and medication allergy, anaphylaxis

  • Medications - prescriptions written

  • Procedures - inpatient, outpatient

  • Vital signs - BMI (weight and height), blood pressure

Hope doctors find it useful.
