The Adventure Series | Magazine Design

For this college project, we were asked to design an issue of a fictional magazine known as The Adventure Series, this magazine is specifically aimed at those who are both explorers, and enthusiastic towards travel.

The project was open for two seperate options, the first option was that the magazine would highlight and discuss some of the most famous locations around the world, and write and interesting paragraph and backstory that may encourage people to be able to see it for themselves. The second option however was slightly more satirical and disturbing due to the fact that we were given a choice of three stories based on travelling that ended up in loss, mishap, death, and mystery.

Given my dark sense of humour, I chose to work on the story of the aviation pioneer and author known as Amelia Earhart who famously disappeared over the Pacific Ocean just off the coast of Howland Island in July 1937.
