Apocalyptic and messianic Alessandro Brizzi

In this table, the predominant element is, of course, Gericault’s Raft of the Medusa, painted in 1819, which, in this case, lends itself to representing the problems within the left wing parties and movements in Italy, but it could be also applied all over the world. The illustration shows the distance between the apocalyptic, on the left dark and resigned, and the Messianic , full of hope in the upper right and with a lighter red. In the middle is the rest of the left that has to mediate or, more simply, try to find an alternative.
