Dual Background

A friend of mine recently gained a lot of popularity in the Christian blogging scene, for a post on grief that she wrote. She's a professional writer and up until this summer, has only had a standard Wordpress.com blog. She asked me to build her a simple site that reflected both her writing and her "whimsical-ness." Using some CSS3, I added these hand-drawn trees plus some stars to either side of the pages. My favorite part is when you scale down to a iPad or mobile phone view, the trees come together. She loved it too, and I thought I'd share it.
