Save Bell Bowl Prairie
The Bell Bowl Prairie is a 25 acre high quality native prairie that resides next to the Chicago Rockford International Airport. The airport wants to expand overtop this wild space which is home to many indigenous plants and endangered wildlife. Construction was delayed due to the discovery of an endangered rusty patched bumblebee, but is slated to resume November 1st.The airport has other options than to destroy a globally ultra-endangered ecosystem and some of the last remaining habitat which used to consume the state. The federal government needs to step in to protect this land from unnecessary development. I'm selling prints of this poster with 100% of the proceeds going to the conservation group behind #savebellbowlprairie
