NCATS funded active project network

For visual encoding, nodes present individual NCATS funded active project. Project are linked with each other if they are focusing on a similar disease type. The size of nodes are proportional with the amount of funding provided. For the shape of the nodes, solid square represents based bench side studies, including pre-clinical research, biomarker, modeling work; dot represents project on clinical side efforts, including therapeutics, treatment, drug discovery and system/tool/software development, which could be directly benefit the clinical practice if succeed. An edge from a square to a disk dot represents the translational efforts on specific disease.
