Insider Mobile App: Bits

Sharing more of the work for Insider ✌️

One of the longest-standing digital media companies, Insider approached us last year to overhaul their mobile app. 

Where best practices would tell you personalization wins every time, we found that Insider subscribers prefer a randomized feed that includes interesting pieces outside their “preferences.” 

Once a reader clicks on a headline, the article expands into view over the top of the feed. The overall UI is limited to keep the focus on the content. 

For the rest of the app, it was all about nailing the basics to create a polished experience.
