Illustration style - Odd bodies

With illustrations riding the wave of popularity, we decided to do a fun task with our illustrators. They were asked to create illustrations around a one-word brief.

The creative brief here was "liberation". And our team came up with "The explorer" because what's more liberating than travel?

The art form used is "Odd bodies". Historically aligned with the body positivity movement, odd bodies is symbolic of liberation. One can tie this style of illustration to an abstract art form. Its distinct style features exaggerated body parts, distorted proportions and contrasting colours.
