The Commonwealth Edison Substation

This is my entry for the Commonwealth Edison Substation, a Chicago electrical station housed inside an austere - but attractive - concrete Art Deco enclosure. My design is a deconstruction of the 2.5D relief that is inlaid over the front entrance. It depicts a huge, Zeus-like figure looming over the city, shooting lightning bolts down to the skyscrapers and homes below.
