Insider Mobile App: summary mode

Some more on the work we did for Insider.

It’s a company that needs no introduction. With millions of readers each month, Insider’s product team approached us to increase engagement with their companion mobile app. 

We kicked things off with a comprehensive round of research (as we do). 

In testing, we noticed over and over again that people relied heavily on the bulleted article summaries. Subscribers loved the bullets so much, we created a new browsing pattern: summary mode. 

Now, with the flip of a switch, readers can scan the summaries of the day’s top articles without leaving the feed. It’s a simple interaction that makes a world of difference.
