Logo Design for Fossa Fez

A logomark I designed for a client. They wanted to feature a fossa, which is a weasel-like mammal from Madagascar, wearing a felt cylindrical headdress called the fez.

The design should be recognizable when sized down. I decided to add some shading to give a pseudo-3D perspective.
