Bug Cheese Camera

The Bug Cheese app encouraged young people to spark their creativity with the power of photography. Aimed at children aged 6 to 9, they discover how the bugs brought Bug Cheese to life. Each bug controls a different part of the camera app. The app had different language versions (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) and was available for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The characters were an important component of Bug Cheese. Children had fun meeting them and exploring how they worked inside the camera. The emotional connection of the children to the characters was key when developing the visual and functional characteristics of each character. Each character design began with a story in mind and a lot of pencil sketches!
