Glaive
Glaive - noun
The glaive is a European pole weapon, in the middle of being a sword or a spear, but it is neither. Originating in France, it was used both as anti-cavalry and on horseback. A figurative, but not a literal, double-edged sword.
As always, constructive criticism is encouraged so that I can continue to improve.
