Here's something fuuuun I've been working on...

To actually get to design a novel truly is a dream that I'll keep chasing forever. Over the last few weeks, I've been manifesting this by creating some examples of how I'd design my favorite stories!

It should come to no surprise that I love spooky stories. And of course, The Shining is easily my favorite horror movie, but the book absolutely floored me. When I finally got around to purchasing the novel while at a layover in Colorado a few years ago, I was sucked back into the Overlook Hotel, now in even more terrifying detail and an ending more satisfying than the film, in my humble opinion.

Inspired by the resurgence of retro line-murals, I tapped into the book's late-70's setting and came up with this look.
