Cruise Search

The original search in GoToSea I designed had the results displayed in a table. However, through qualitative user research, I learned that it was hard for potential cruisers to parse. This was especially true as we added more columns to the search table to accommodate additional information cruisers needed to make a decision.

We're very fond of having a "card view" at U.S. News since it allows us to work through potential layouts more quickly, so I decided to take all of that information we had in the table view and convert it. Another designer has since taken over the GoToSea project, but these were the first card layouts designed.
