Map with locally produced food

We're working on a digital product where you can find places that sells local food (like meat, vegetables, cheese etc). The map is obvious pretty important, and our challenge is too make it as easy as possible. The most challenging parts are within the map, how it works and how it behaves. But that can not be shown in an image.

Oh, this is the actual product in CSS/React. Too often I see beautiful designed products on Dribbble that turns out not so good when finalised in a product. So sometimes it good be better to show the actual product in a browser. :-)
