Brazilian Louva-a-deus (aka: Praying Mantis)

As I began day 01 of my Morning Pages/Travel Diary practice, I saw a Praying Mantis passing by, and had take a photo! Drawing them allowed me the time to really notice their structure. It’s so interesting how there are leaf-like parts that overlap one another, and legs that look like sticks with thorny bits. 🌱Since I’m currently working remotely from Brazil, I’ll include their Portuguese name: Louva-a-deus
