Exploring an opportunities of variable lettering for logotype design. This is not a font, this is custom variable lettering animated using DrawBot and Python. I’m excited about interpolation technology and how it can be easily animated using Python. That’s a new set of skills for me and i’m still frustrated while using it, but excited about potential use of it in the future so i keep learning. In this work i wanted to shift not only the weight or the width of the letters but also the mood of the overall logotype that changes from strict and geometric to soft and bubbly.
