CNET iPhone - Photo gallery

When a user gets to a gallery page, the application will fill the screen with the image (depending on the aspect ratio) and give a brief description at the bottom.

Should the description be too large, the user can swipe up the description and a blurring and darkening of the image will occur. The full text will now show, and the user can swipe down to dismiss the text.

Tapping the image itself will hide the controls revealing the full image. Users can also tap the "Thumbnail Grid" icon and see a grid of small thumbnails so they can view a desired image without swiping through a whole gallery.
