Department of Conservation - Conservation Week

The NZ Department of Conservation required character development and animations for their Conservation Week 2018 event. These characters and animations were to serve as an educational tool to highlight the native species living in New Zealand that are in crisis. I decided that a fun way to bring these characters to life was through claymation. 16kgs of plasticine later – and I had created 6 characters and accompanying animations.
