Social Media Fail
Social Media Fail is an educational campaign created for La Trobe University, alerting students to the impact that social media can have on future employment. This project involved branding, promotional materials, character development, storyboarding, an animation, website design and development. I wanted to create something that was funny and light hearted, but that could effectivley carry the key messages. I engaged an audio company and commissioned a jingle to accompany the animation. The Social Media Fail website won a CSS Design Award for achieving high scores across the three criteria of creative design, code and functionality, and usability and content. This project was well received and has since received a second round of funding from Victorian State Government. McDonalds Bendigo made it apart of their orientation package for new staff members, and KPMG Sweden requested to screen it at one of their corporate functions.
