ProductLabs is an in-house program that encourages skill-building and innovation across U.S. News product teams. Through in-depth discussions and training sessions, the program helps PMs hone their skills and dive deep into key areas of product development like strategy, UX, analytics, project management, and more.
I was given a creative brief that included the purpose of this program, and started brainstorming some ideas based on some keywords and requirements:
- No U.S. News branding
- Inspirational
- Clean, simple, modern
- Color scheme: yellow, gray, black, and white
- Thinking about idea light bulbs
- "Wheels turning" visuals - gears
- Open to including name in the logo or "PL" abbreviation
