You probably know the TED and its initiative format for independent conferences, TEDx.
This year, the Ukrainian University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy held its own TEDx with a theme of ‘ambiguity’ and invited us to design a visual identity.
An apt synonym of an ‘ambiguity’, in our opinion, is abstractness, which has great potential for visual embodiment. The idea of abstractness implemented in hiding elements with rectangular spots helps us to bring novelty to the well-known, existing identity of a global brand.
Thus, this event had got a catchy style and our team got recognition — we’re happy to receive Best of the Best prize for Brand&Identity at the Red Dot Award and also collect several local Ukrainian awards.
