Mae Jamison

For the second colour palette of Huely* 2021 I wanted to keep with the Women in STEM topic, but chose to focus on Black women.

Mae Jemison, an engineer, physician and a former NASA astronaut. She became the first Black woman in space when she served as a mission specialist during the STS-47 mission in 1992.

* Huely is a limited colour palette challenge I run during July. The name is the combination of Hue (colour) and the month its held (July). For each image I use a maximum of 5 colours (+ black and white) to paint my images.
