Ribbon

The ribbon is live, dynamic text, populated from a custom field (but could easily be a category name or a tag, etc), positioned and styled with rgba, box-shadow, and rotated. The technique does, alas, require a presentational wrapper span with hidden overflow to clip the ends of the ribbon.

Screenshot is taken in Firefox 3.5. Works equally well in Safari 4, and degrades gracefully in less capable browsers (or at least should once I get around to testing them).
