Compose view

A mock I made for the compose view of broadcast. Of course as this is just a concept it is designed without any real context or technical constraint. As often with messaging products, the challenge is to find the right amount tools to streamline the process of writing while limiting clutter. I tend to design to exact feature requirements for the early stage and then engage in a slow process of removal... until essence has been distilled (when it even happens) – (also, sorry about the pretentious perfume comparison)

This UI ends up giving me some microsoft surface vibes.
