Open Radio - Music App

Hello again,

Happy to share this design shot of a case study I did earlier this summer. I set out on the mission to create a radio app that took the UX, simplicity, and timelessness of an old FM receiver I own. Simple, minimal, and timeless were my aesthetic goals.

Being a music nerd, I prefer human curated radio rather than an algorithm deciding what I'm listening to. It doesn't feel as soulless and you can really feel what the artist is trying to express with the music they play.

That being said, Open Radio is simply a radio app. The idea is that each channel is a live artist playing curated mixes for their listeners. Listeners can read about the artist, save their favorite mixes to listen back later and browse previously recorded mixes (just to name a few features).
