burning backlash

Back in 2004 the south of Portugal was swept by huge forest-fires that torched an area equivalent to Luxembourg. These are photos from 2 out of 5 films shot, 2 films were lost while helping out the firefighters (all volunteers) bringing food and water while they fought the flames non-stop for 3-4 days, with only few hours breaks in between for eat/drink/rest.
