City WIP

Here's a work in progress that I want to finish, I just don't know if I will (we all have those kinds of personal pieces).

Sometimes I like to sketch with as few layers as possible using chunky brushes to rough things in. The danger is, if I take the sketch too far, it begins to take on a life and quality that the final piece won't be able to replicate. It gets stuck in this not-polished-but-too-polished state. Its kind of like the difference between a sketch which has a lot of life and the inked final which looses that life.

I still have a long way to go.
