Gizmos and Whatnots

I'm trying to revamp my portfolio and felt that the addition of some goofy illustrations might just do the trick. It is very much a work in progress.

I pulled these suckers into After Effects and I'm currently exploring some animation options. Do any of you AE wizards have any suggestions?
