Tile for Creative Cloud Mosaic

This is my contribution to the amazing Adobe Creative Cloud Mosaic. Adobe will be adding artists to the mosaic daily and reveal the finished piece at the Creative Cloud live online event.

The graphic is made in optical art style inspired by some of my favorite contemporary artists. From Victor Vasarely who is said to be the father of Op Art. To Karim Rashid's playful vector blends and joyful psychedelic use of colors. Finally and most of all it's inspired by Yayoi Kusama. A Japanese artist who paints with polka dots.

I decided to borrow Yayoi Kusama's dot for a little while to see where this minimalistic artifice would take me if I allowed it to have a life on it's own on my art board.

The optical illusion here is the dotted pattern which appears to be in 3D. But it is merely a simple vector blend made of three 2-dimensional dots created in Adobe Illustrator CC.
