OnlineMBA.com | Concentration SubPage Custom Wordpress Template

This is a SubPage of the Concentration Landing Page. On the Concentration Landing Page, the user has the option to choose a concentration to learn more about. When they choose a concentration, they are directed to the Concentrations SubPage.

The SubPage I designed is a Custom WordPress Template. I designed content buckets that were re-usable and adaptable for all of the concentrations.

Additionally, there was sponsored content such as Featured Top Colleges and Featured Schools. This content is monetized and must be spaced out within the page for better rankings in Google search results. The Featured Top Colleges was an existing style created by another designer on the team, and I created the Featured Schools design - a more interactive feature.

Loading speed, SEO, and content navigation were top priorities. I designed the Sticky Progress Bar & Dropdown Navigation for these pages, which was a design that was later re-used across multiple websites within the company portfolio.

I received a google doc with sample headers & body copy sectioned out in outline from the Content Marketing Manager. From there, I followed the existing UI style of the website to create this template - creating new UI only when necessary to reduce dev spend. For example, the Healthcare Management Pay Predictions Graph was a new style.

I started with hand-sketched wireframes, then went into the design program Sketch to mock up the desktop designs while keeping the mobile version in mind. I shared my desktop mockups with my boss for feedback via InVision, then created accompanying mobile mockups. Final designs were approved by the Content Marketing Manager.

I believe I excel at organizing content-heavy informational websites and software. I use my quick hand drawn wireframing skills, logic, and intuition.
