80's Mix Tape Robot

Recently a friend that I worked with on Nickelodeon's U-Pick Live asked if I would like to be a participating / featured artist at his art gallery. Of course I said yes!

The theme of his art gallery is "Robots." I pondered for a moment about what I wanted to create. I knew people would be sending him all kinds of retro metal toy robots, but I decided to take that idea one step further and bring a 1950s metal toy robot into the 1980s!

Thus, the 80's Mix Tape Robot was born.

My concept was to create a graphic that could be printed on various items such as t-shirts or products. I also wanted to allow the robot be recreated in various colors if the demand was high enough.

So far there are four variations....
Pascal - Black
Sam - Blue
Clementine - Pink
Danny - Red

Each has his or her own persona. Even though they all look exactly the same. I thought it was more fun to give each their little description.
