From End to The Beginning
For this one, I did photography with photoshop. I used the bundle of dandelions rather than just one dandelion. Since everyone likes to do one, I decided to use a bundle of them. The reason is to show that they're all dying together, but then their sous(pollen) flies out of them and heads towards the sky(a new beginning in the afterlife).
1.) First what I did is isolate the sky in the field scene, then change the color of the sky with gradient, dark blue to light blue. I also messed with the brightness for the background.
2.) Then I added in the white dandelions above the dying dandelions. I merged the white dandelions and added an outerglow effect, then I added a brightness on the them, then I duplicated thewhite dandelion pollens to make it look more ghostly(soul like). I also added the outerglow effect on the dying dandelions too.
2.) Afterwards I duplicated the grass, used a grass brush and did an overlay on the ground. Next thing I did is mess with the brightness(3x), change the hue/saturation, add a soft light shade over the whole picture.
3.) I added in the stars(2x with outer glow effects), downloaded a Circular Texture Overlays Set(to use as a border) then copied it into the End to Beginning photoshop file. I stretched out the circular border, lowered the opacity to 76% and changed it from normal to darken.
4.) I wrote in the text then copied the stars around it to make the title stand out. Lastly I added the outer glow effect to the text.
Recently my little brother gave me some dandelions after he played outside. But then not long after they started to wither. So then I thought to myself maybe this would be the perfect time to show a spiritual side of death to life. Rather than beginning to end as most people put it, I go the opposite way and say from end to beginning. The dandelions are dying together, but then their spirits(the pollen) start to fly from their bodies reaching towards the heavens. I thought it sounded pretty nice. Also I decided to do some photo editing with this one.
