Studio RGB logo
Studio RGB's a web design company I created with a friend and colleague not long after college. We did web design for small businesses from around fall of 2010 until fall 2012.
We spent a lot of time trying to decide on brand imagery. We played around a lot of with pixels as logos (hence the name RGB), but felt the imagery was having way too much of an IT feel, and we wanted to keep everything very organic/branding/marketing/human oriented to make small businesses as comfortable as possible if having us build their first website. By that I mean we wanted to convey that having us take care of their web presence was important to their brand, and a websites not simply some geeky expensive thing that's way over their head. Anyhow, I messed around with apples, leaves, etc, trying to find organic imagery that I could make red, green, and blue. Eventually I wound up using lizards, featuring a red, green, and blue iguana on our homepage, and turning the S in studio into a lizard.
Although we're not in business anymore, the site's still laying around (mostly because two thirds of my web design portfolio's privately hosted so I need some things to demonstrate). http://studiorgb.net
