April 26th Ieoh Ming Pei was born
Ieoh Ming Pei, Chinese architect, general Liz prize winner in 1983, known as "the last master of modern architecture". After Ieoh Ming Pei Suzhou family, was born in 1917 in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, the father Bei 祖贻 served as the Central Bank of the Republic of China president, in 1935 went to Harvard University building America learning under the tutelage of architects Gropius and Breuer. Ieoh Ming Pei works in public buildings, cultural construction, classified as a modern socialist construction, the use of glass and steel, concrete, stone, the representative works American Washington National Gallery East, Le Louvre Museum in Paris expansion project.
