Latecão - Brasilerímãs series

This art is inspired by the traditional mascots of gas cylinder stores, present in gifts such as tea towels and fridge magnets. I exchanged the gas cylinder on the character's back for a can of paint. The idea was to make an interpretation of a relatively common situation in Brazilian graffiti: the finding of paints in the trash.

Brasileirímas is a project that features classic Brazilian mascots, in traditional fridge magnets given away by popular companies such as pharmacies, pizzerias, etc. With updated aesthetics, these characters bring the text around them influenced by the Brazilian popular culture of yesterday and today: Funk lyrics, meme phrases, sayings, among other elements of everyday life.
