Daily Challenge: Home Monitoring System

Based on the Daily Design challenge "Design a home monitoring system." in which I also share my design process.

I chose to focus on the temperature/humidity aspect of the house's rooms. Second frame shows the lofi version as well as two other iterations. Eventually I decided to go with the central version, because I found it most interesting on a visual level.

Third screen shows quick sketches in Photoshop as well as a content list. I sometimes found that certain design ideas were hard to translate from one step to the next. I specifically found it challenging translating the "on/off" states. Whereas I initially invisioned this as a toggle switch, I later decided that this did not at all fit into the design that I was creating,
