Self Branding Refresh

It's been a little over a year since Troubador was founded and it turns out starting a business right before a global pandemic can be tricky stuff. When Dom and I started Troubador we wanted to partner up so that we could take on bigger projects, but we didn't really know what kind of work that we wanted to do. My background was mostly in layout design and Dom's background was mostly in signage and graphics. Over the last year we have begun to find our niche in branding and have pivoted in our own branding to match the services we want to provide. So here's our new logo, which circles back to the roots of Dom and my friendship and one of the first graphic design classes we took together. As a school project we made lifesize posters of ourselves riding our pets stylized to look like oil paintings. Now our Troubador rides a logo version of Dom's dog Dewey.
