Ity Design font

For 36 days of type I wanted to do something constructive that would actually make me do something I was putting off and that was designing my own 'on brand' typeface.

I designed the vector letters and numbers using my logo as a reference. This actually incorporates golden circles at its ends and so the strokes are wider at one end than the other.

I used a font editing software to create my font.

When I made this image using the font I had not yet kerned it or added special characters but I've now kerned it and the special characters are coming along. The finished font should be ready soon!

I love the imperfections, the character and the quirkiness of this.
