Flyer for Scientific Explorations, an electronic music event

This collage was done for in a punky / trashy style for an underground electronic music event in 2006. It fuses hand-drawn elements with seemingly random digital cutouts and intentionally absurd made-up quotes. I had always been influenced by the graphic style of punk, especially the collage work of Winston Smith (DK) and Crass. This flyer was designed as a tongue-in-cheek response to the clean vectorized design styles of the early noughties and the work I was doing while studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Design Department.
