Shape Notebooks

Shape, is a brand of notebooks I created in 2015, as I was graduating college. I was very interested in the way each person took notes and how it was always different from the person next to them. My goal was to create a notebook with a bit of a twist to it.

I created 3 different notebooks, each containing a different grid on the inside. Each grid consists of lines to write on, as well as blank spaces to doodle or write with larger words. With these unique layouts, the person using them is encouraged to turn the notebook any way they like, to write or draw.

By using layouts with interesting grids, it encourages people to take notes in an unconventional way, helping with memory and making the boring task of note-taking a little more fun.

I wanted to appeal to creative thinkers as well as push other people to take a creative approach to their every day note-taking.
