I recently got to design this logo for a local lawyer. He specializes in criminal law in the Flint Hills, KS area and wanted a logo the felt like a Midwest seal, while also conveyed a source of strength for his clients, who are usually going through one of the most stressful points of their life when they come to him. He wanted to be the mountain on the horizon that can be the shelter in the storm for his clients.
